Please check the troop calendar for several merit badges being offered throughout the National Capital Area Council, many of which are very close by. The calendar has merit badges offered up until 12/31/2026 and was last updated 10/13/2026.

Mr Dargusch will be hosting a Zoom call for Personal Management merit badge. This group session is only for scouts starting their merit badge.  Prerequisites must be submitted to Mr Dargusch before attending. Subsequent sessions are done with scouts individually. All sessions require an additional adult to be present, provided by the scout. Please see the calendar for more details.

One way that Scouting America recognizes the adult volunteers is through awards. Some awards come in the form of "knot patches" to be worn above the left breast pocket of the adult uniform.
